Among the first buildings constructed on the east side of Corso del Popolo, at the time completely isolated, the realization of the fresco over 24 meters high was assigned to Spazialismo movement painters Gino Bacci and Edoardo Morandis, in order to experience the revival of urban quality of the ancient "Urbs Picta". The fresco was covered and then was lost.
